    202215 - Stay Fit Walk

    This program is designed to get participants active and get walking! Participants check-in and record their laps at any of the following locations: Viaero Center, Hilltop Mall or UNK Health & Sports Center. Participants will be notifed of certain days where guest speakers will come and discuss various topics that will assist them with their fitness journey. All participants will receive a shirt and are asked to attend the frst day, Monday, November 4, at 5:30pm at the Hilltop Mall to go over details of the program and receive your long sleeve t-shirt Participants who record a certain number of laps/miles each month will be entered into a random prize drawing.

    UNK Health & Sports Center
    9:00am-5:00pm

    Viaero Center 9:00am-5:00pm

    202218 - Gentle Flow

    Open to all levels of practice and abilities (must be able to move from the floor to standing) and is especially great for beginners or those searching for the therapeutic benefts of yoga and mindfulness. This soothing gentle practice focuses on moving into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The pace of this allows you to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with a heavy dose of relaxation and some aromatherapy to wrap up your practice. Leave feeling great and energized for the Holidays. Class is taught by Beth Reynolds-Lewis, certifed Yoga Teacher and registered instructor with the Yoga Alliance.

    202219 - Intro to Reiki

    Ages 18 & older. Are you Curious about Reiki? Come learn more about the history and how this Japanese form of self-care promotes deep relaxation and healing. We will learn and discuss how energy works within our bodies and how to use this knowledge to easily promote wellbeing and health. Please dress in comfortable clothes as we will be doing some very light movement. Classes are taught by Beth Reynolds-Lewis, Master Level Reiki Practitioner.

    202220 - Adult Climbing Class

    Rock climbing is not only thrilling, but it builds strength, endurance, and confdence! Participants will learn climbing safety and basic climbing techniques through fun and challenging instruction and activities This will be led by certifed UNK Instructors at the University of Nebraska Kearney Wellness Center utilizing the Climbing Rock Wall.

    202221 - Equine Letting Go

    Are you longing for a more creative and meaningful holiday season? Are you ready to let go of some unrealistic expectations? Then this ladies’ group is just for you. While interacting with horses, ladies will become more aware of defeating expectations while discovering the inner strengths they already possess to let go of unrealistic expectations No riding activities No previous horse experience needed Closed-toed shoes (boots) and signing a release of liability are required the day of. Facilitated by Nancy Lyon, Eagala Certifed Equine Specialist. Class will
    be held at BraveHearts Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning (3135 West 22nd Street).
