    January 13 will be led by experienced KPR Climbing Instructors at the Harmon Park Activity Center utilizing the traverse wall.

    January 20 will be led by certified UNK Instructors at the University of Nebraska Kearney Wellness Center utilizing the new Climbing Rock Wall.

    This program is designed for children to learn theimportance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle. Participants will develop self-discipline, self-confdence, and enhance the will and determination to reach individual goals. Physical training will consist of various calisthenics, mile and two mile runs, sprints, obstacle course & more! Intellectual training is designed around developing a great attitude, focus and behavior. Various health topics will be discussed throughout the course as well. Students from U.N.K, pursuing degrees in Exercise Science, Physical Education and Recreation will lead the class. Harmon Park Activity Center

    302208 - U11-U14 Soccer League

    Seven practices / games.Ted Baldwin Park. U11-U14, boys and girls, born between 1/1/04-12/31/07.
    This program will focus on skill development, building player confidence, healthy competition, sportsmanship, and teamwork in a high energy, positive and organized atmosphere. The first 30-45 minutes will be utilized for warm-up, fundamental drills, and team practice. Games will be scheduled during the remaining time. A tournament will be conducted at the end of the season.

    Hired Park and Recreation coaches will lead the teams. Shinguards are mandatory and must be covered by a sock. Players should wear soccer or tennis shoes only with rubber soles/cleats. All players will receive a team t-shirt.

This soothing gentle practice focuses on moving into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with a heavy dose of relaxation and some aromatherapy to wrap up your practice.

    Register by Friday, February 2. Join us for a locker room tour, meet & greet with select players. Pre-game Party (small activities and food) and post-game skate! Kids will also get to line up in the tunnel to high five players as they go onto the ice and have a chance at riding the Zamboni during intermission! Free Popcorn to enjoy during the game for all participants!
