    101112 - Archery Camp

    "Archers Approach The Line!" It is time to shoot. In the two day camp we will cover basic instruction & safety, and the participants will get to shoot at various types of targets. We will also have lots of other fun non-archery shooting activities. Thursday's class will be held in the Multipurpose Room at the Harmon Park Activity Center. Friday's class will be held at the outdoor archery range at Meadowlark North Park.

    Finish summer strong at “Camp Harmon! Each day will include fun activities such as swimming at Harmon Pool, group activities, and some of the wildest games you have ever played! On Thursday, kids will spend the night for a lock-in at the Harmon Park Activity Center. A Thursday evening meal will be provided, as well as a light breakfast on Friday. Class is M-W from 1:30 -4:30 pm. Thursday is 1:30 pm to Friday at 8:00 am. Harmon Park Activity Center Multi-purpose Basement.

The USTA “10 & Under” format will be used for grades 2nd-5th, which includes modified courts sizes and foam or low compression balls. Some racquets are available if needed. An awards picnic will be held for all participants in July. Participants need to bring one can of tennis balls, low compression balls, or foam balls brought to the first class. This program is led by Troy Saulsbury, Kearney High School Tennis Coach. This program is sponsored by the Kearney Sertoma Club. Harmon Park Tennis Courts.
